Cost Comparison
(Guatemala Dental vs United States)
An increasing number of people are coming to Guatemala to get their dental treatment done for the high quality and great cost savings – up to 50% to 80% compared to what you would pay in the United States. Check out the comparisons below!
No Surprises
We may live in a world of hidden costs, but you can be sure that once we give you an estimate for dental work, that is exactly what you will pay. While we do our best to provide accurate estimates, if we miss something, it’s on us!
Please understand that in the process of performing dental work, there is always the possibility we may discover other issues that would be in your best interest to care for first. Were this to happen, we would review treatment options and associated costs with you first so there are no surprises.
The ‘Plus’ Treatment
International patients of Guatemala Dental don’t just receive dental treatment, as if they were going to a local dentist in their hometown. Our patients receive world-class dental treatment – PLUS personal lodging and transportation to and from our office.
Lodging
We provide you with a comfortable apartment that includes a kitchen, private bedroom and bathroom. Located just a few blocks from our dental office, you can easily walk to a pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants and malls.
Transportation
Transportation for your dental treatment is covered! We will arrange reliable and safe short trips from the airport or your arranged lodging for your appointment(s).

X-RAYS
You can send a digital file of your x-ray via email. Ideally, we need a panoramic x-ray and a 3D study. Alternatively you can take a picture of the x-rays and send them through WhatsApp or iMessage. If you can’t get x-rays, don’t worry, you can get them here at the dental office. The only difference is we can’t give you a more reliable quote before you come.
If you only have them physically you can send them to:
RODRIGO GUERRA
7801 N.W. 37TH. ST.
SEC 81009
DORAL, FLORIDA, 33195-6503, USA
After mailing, please send us the tracking number via email, WhatsApp or iMessage.
SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS
If you would like to come straight to us to your appointment, please feel free to book your flight, send us your flight number and airline and we will coordinate picking you up at the airport and schedule your appointments. You can request an appointment using this form.
APPOINTMENT DETAILS
1st. You will have a first appointment for getting full exam, final quote and start working. Regularly it lasts about 3-4 hours. If your flight schedule allows it, you can have that appointment the same day you travel. We coordinate picking you up to the airport (no extra charge) and bring you to the dental office in the city. You can have an appointment the same day if you arrive to Guatemala at 2pm the latest.
2nd. 24 hours after the first appointment, you will have your second appointment for cementing the crowns or whatever needed if we send work to the lab. Consider a 1-hour appointment. This second appointment can be 24 hours after the first appointment, or it can be at the end of your trip. So you could come to the first appointment, get surgery, and then go to Antigua or Lake Atitlan. Then when you leave back home you could come for your second appointment and then travel back. Consider you have to be 2-3 hours before your flight at the airport.
PRESCRIPTIONS
We have all the necessary medicine for any treatment; you can buy it right here at Guatemala Dental Team. So there is no need to bring prescriptions from home. You will spend around $80 (USD) or less.
