We utilize less invasive techniques like Socket Shield and PET. Along with the Neodent Dental Implants by Straumann Group (GM Acqua) with hydrophilic surface, osseointegration is accelerated. Do you use implants that other dentists use?

We use Neodent Dental Implants by Straumann Group, a pinnacle of innovation and precision in dental care. These implants boast cutting-edge technology, exceptional durability, and outstanding aesthetics. With a proven track record for success, Neodent implants offer patients renewed confidence in their smiles and dental professionals an unparalleled tool for delivering top-tier results.

What material is used for the permanent denture?

Zirconium, a remarkable material for dental implants, offers a perfect blend of strength, durability, and biocompatibility. Its exceptional resistance to corrosion ensures long-lasting results, while its natural appearance look like actual teeth. Zirconium dental implants provide patients with a comfortable, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing solution for restoring their smiles.

How can I be sure I will like the look of the denture?

We begin by taking a CBCT scan, panoramic x-rays, photos and a complete scan of your mouth. This enables us to create a complete digital design for your smile so you will be able to see the results even before the surgery. We use stackable surgical guides that ensure you will not only love how your new smile will look, but it will feel comfortable and provide years of exceptional performance.

How are lodging and transportation included?

We handle arrangements to pick you up from the airport (if your appointment is imminent) or from your arranged lodging to our clinic for your appointment(s). Our packages include a well-equipped and positively reviewed AirBnB lodging in a convenient location for 10 days for both visits. We will take care of all the details for you as you enjoy celebrity treatment.

APPOINTMENT DETAILS

1st. You will have a first appointment for getting full exam, final quote and start working. Regularly it lasts about 3-4 hours. If your flight schedule allows it, you can have that appointment the same day you travel. We coordinate picking you up to the airport (no extra charge) and bring you to the dental office in the city. You can have an appointment the same day if you arrive to Guatemala at 2pm the latest.

2nd. 24 hours after the first appointment, you will have your second appointment for cementing the crowns or whatever needed if we send work to the lab. Consider a 1-hour appointment. Frequently Asked Questions
About All-on Implants

The full dental restoration cost at Guatemala Dental is a flat $18,000 USD — all-inclusive. That single price covers your full diagnostic workup (CBCT scan, X-rays, treatment planning), all surgical procedures, extractions, anesthesia, Neodent implants (either All-on-4 or All on Six configuration), temporary arches, custom zirconia arches for both upper and lower jaws, post-op medications, and your VIP support package (airport and clinic transfers and AirBnB accommodation). There are no add-on fees and no surprises at checkout.
In the United States, the average full mouth restoration cost — including implants, zirconia arches, extractions, and surgical fees — ranges from $40,000 to $90,000 or more depending on the clinic and location. Patients traveling to Guatemala for dental care typically save between 60% and 75% on the same procedures, using the same implant brands and materials. Guatemala Dental's $18,000 flat fee represents a saving of $22,000–$72,000 compared to comparable US full mouth restoration cost estimates.
All-on-4 dental implants use four implant posts per arch to support a full fixed bridge. It's an excellent solution for most patients and requires less bone density. All on Six dental implants (also called All-on-6) use six implant posts per arch, providing additional stability, better load distribution across the jaw, and extra longevity — making it the preferred choice for patients with higher bite force or those who want maximum durability. Both All-on-4 and All on Six options are available at Guatemala Dental and are fully covered under the $18,000 flat fee. Your surgeon will recommend the right configuration based on your scans and bone structure during your initial consultation.
Yes — the $18,000 flat fee covers a full dual-arch restoration: both your upper and lower jaw. This includes diagnostics, implants, temporary and final zirconia arches, and all associated surgical work for both arches. Many clinics price each arch separately; our all-inclusive model means the entire full mouth restoration is one transparent, flat cost with nothing left out.
Yes. Our protocol uses a same-day teeth approach: implants are placed and provisional (temporary) teeth are attached in a single surgical session, so you leave the clinic with a full set of functioning teeth on day one. Your final custom zirconia arches are then fabricated and placed during a follow visit. This "teeth in a day" method is the same protocol used by leading implant centers in the US and Europe.
The typical timeline for a complete All-on-4 or All-on-6 dental implant restoration consists of two separate trips to Guatemala:
Trip #1: Initial Surgery (5–7 Days Recommended)
1st Appointment: Full clinical evaluation, 3D CBCT diagnostic imaging, and precise digital surgical planning.
2nd Appointment: Gentle tooth extractions (if necessary), targeted bone grafting, surgical placement of the dental implants, and secure attachment of your immediate provisional (temporary) fixed bridges. You walk out with fully functional, beautiful teeth.
The Healing Phase (4–6 Months at Home)
You return home for a recovery window of four to six months. This period is crucial for osseointegration, allowing your jawbone to naturally fuse with the titanium implant posts to establish an unbreakable foundation for your final teeth.
Trip #2: Final Permanent Restorations (5–7 Days Recommended)
1st Appointment: Specialized master impressions and digital scans are taken to custom-craft your permanent teeth.
2nd Appointment: The final precision removal of the temporaries and secure, permanent anchoring of your custom-milled, hand-finished Zirconia bridges.
Guatemala has a well-established dental tourism industry, and Guatemala Dental is one of its most recognized clinics for full mouth restoration. Our lead surgeons are US-trained and internationally certified, and we use the same implant brands and lab standards you would find at a premier US clinic. Every case is handled by a specialist team — oral surgeon, prosthodontist, and lab technician working in coordination. We have treated hundreds of US and Canadian dental tourism patients and maintain a multi-year patient follow-up protocol to monitor outcomes.
Our all-inclusive dental vacation package includes: private VIP airport transfers to and from Guatemala City international airport, AirBnB accommodation for your stay, a dedicated patient coordinator who speaks English, post-surgical care kit and medications, and 24/7 emergency contact access throughout your trip. Guatemala Dental is not just dental work — it is a complete, supported dental travel experience designed specifically for international patients.
Neodent is a globally recognized Swiss-Brazilian implant brand (part of the Straumann Group, the world's largest implant company) with over 30 years of clinical research and a proven long-term success rate exceeding 98%. We use Neodent because it delivers the same quality as brands like Nobel Biocare or Straumann at a more accessible price point, without any compromise on osseointegration performance, material quality, or long-term durability. Your implants are internationally traceable and carry a manufacturer warranty.
High-quality zirconia arches — like those used in our full dental restoration — typically last 15 to 25 years or longer with proper maintenance. Zirconia is one of the hardest dental materials available, highly resistant to chipping and discoloration, and biocompatible (will not irritate gum tissue).
Yes — the cost of permanent teeth at Guatemala Dental is a single $18,000 USD payment that covers everything described above. There are no separate surgical fees, no lab upcharges, no anesthesia add-ons, and no hidden facility charges. The total full dental restoration cost is $18,000. We are transparent about this because our patients deserve to budget and plan without surprises.
No. Our patient coordinators are fluent English speakers, and all pre-op consultations, surgical briefings, and post-op instructions are conducted in English. Spanish is not required at any stage of your treatment or stay.
Guatemala Dental accepts wire transfer, major credit cards, PayPal, Bitcoin and cash. A deposit is required to secure your surgery date. We do not currently offer in-house financing; however, many of our patients use financing options such as Klarna or Affirm through Stripe invoicing. Please contact us and we can discuss payment scheduling options if needed.
The first step is a free virtual consultation — a 20-minute video call with one of our own dentists. From there, we confirm candidacy, provide a personalized treatment plan, and lock in your appointment dates. Most patients are scheduled within 2–6 weeks of initial consultation. Use the contact form on this page or call us directly to get started.
