Dr. Oscar Guerra Berducido
Implantologist & Dental Prosthetics
Dr. Oscar Armando Guerra Berducido was born to be in the dental field.
His father, Fermín Guerra Díaz, and his uncles owned a dental laboratory where they made complete, removable, and fixed dentures. It was one of the most renowned laboratories in all of Central America and southern Mexico. From a very young age, Dr. Guerra was exposed to the dentistry and all that accompanied it.
Dr. Guerra studied at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and has had his own practice since 1982, where he combines his technical and scientific knowledge for the benefit of the patient. In 1987, he started his own laboratory, where the highest quality prosthetics needed for the clinic were made in the shortest time possible.
He started working with dental implants in 1995 receiving dental implant training seminars from Imtec Dental Implants in Boca Ratón Florida USA 1999 to Sterngold (dental implant and prosthetics program) in Boston 2007, to Botiss Academy (bone augmentation & regeneration) 2017. And by know he has placed more than 2,000 dental implants.
Dr. Rodrigo Guerra Arriaga

Dr. Rodrigo Guerra, a dental surgeon with Guatemala Dental, graduated from the Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala). He maintains continuing education with and is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, an American Dental Association (ADA) CERP Recognized Provider. He has also completed the EM Academy Course – 3Ps of Partial Extraction Therapy: Preparation, Procedure and Provisionals (2023), recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2023 Dr. Guerra completed a CeraRoot ceramic dental implants course in 2023 by the American College of Biocompatible Health, a Nationally Approved PACE Program Provider.
Dr. Guerra has inherited from his grandfather and father the tradition for quality and perfection in his work as well as a dedication to his patients – characteristic of the Guerra doctors for three generations.
He is experienced in both the technical and clinical fields of prosthetics and dental cosmetics. Dr. Guerra’s expertise in this area has enabled him to become an advisor and leader in the field to his peers.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Guerra works with the Rotary Club’s one-day dental clinics to care for poor patients in some of the country’s most remote locations.
Dr. Ana Lucía Avendaño

Dr. Ana Lucía Avendaño is a dental surgeon that graduated from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, Guatemala City and completed a course in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics at Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City, Mexico.
Dr. Avendaño is an active member of the Colegio Estomatológico de Guatemala. She’s been working at Guatemala Dental since 2017.
Since she was a little girl, she showed great manual skills and also felt a great passion for everything that had to do with health care. But finally, she decided to study dentistry, which has been a great challenge in her life.
From the beginning of her career, she began attending dental work in different institutions such as Helping Hands Foundation, assisting the needy in the interior of the country.
At the clinic, she puts a great effort to care for her patients of all ages, and makes them feel comfortable and satisfied in their treatments. She loves children and elderly.
Dr. Patricia Estrada

Dr. Patricia Estrada Marroquín is a dental surgeon with Guatemala Dental. Dr. Estrada began her professional education at Colegio Bethania, Guatemala and also studied dental surgery at Universidad Francisco Marroquín. She received her Masters in Periodontology and Implantology from Universidad Andrés Bello, Santiago, Chile.
Dr. Estrada is an active member of the Colegio Estomatológico de Guatemala as well as the Asociación de Periodoncia de Guatemala.
She has had extensive experience in private practice and is also currently a clinical instructor in the undergraduate program at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

Dr. Jefferson Jimenez is the first dental doctor in his family. He studied at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
Dr. Jimenez always liked medicine and helping other people, so he decided to study dentistry so he could help people smile. He loves when people smile and feels it is a pleasure to be able to help people have a better smile.
He is a newly graduated doctor but has the passion and the energy to give the best service possible. He is constantly learning and improving every day to be a better dentist and person.
